Beyond the SCIF Series

Beyond the SCIF is an effort by House Intelligence Committee Republicans to connect with experts and leaders in the national security field to create an open dialogue on threats facing our nation and what committee members can do to counter the malign actions of our adversaries.


2023 - 2024

Congressman French Hill (AR-02) began the second series of House Intelligence Committee Republicans’ Beyond the SCIF series with his panel “China’s Economic Forecast: The View from Congress” in conjunction with the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Congressman Darin LaHood (IL-16), Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee’s Bipartisan FISA 702 Working Group, continued the Beyond the SCIF series with his panel, “A Conversation on Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Reform,” at the Council on Foreign Relations.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner (OH-10) moderated the third installment of the Beyond the SCIF series with his panel “American Interests and Support for Ukraine” at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center.
